The biggest lesson that I’ve learned over the past few years under Master Eduardo is that Jiu-Jitsu is infinite. There is always room to improve and there is always something to learn.
I chose Rocha BJJ because of its structured curriculum and the atmosphere of seriousness, helpfulness, and friendliness. Each instructor and the higher belts all want you to succeed and work with you to show you how to improve your techniques. The location is also great.
I think the only way to do something as hard as Jiu-Jitsu for years on end is to appreciate the beauty in it, and I think anyone who sees beauty in something as hard as Jiu-Jitsu is a healthy person to associate with.
